Hi,

I have just started my first attempt ever at repairing a camera. It is a Flexaret Va (I think, it actually does not match any model exactly), a 6x6 czechian camera (with 35mm option). When fired the shutter opened but did not close. It only closed when going to the next frame.

My poblem is I can't get the front panel completely lose from the box. When viewed from the back in the upper right corner, there is a lever that comes out of the camera box and goes into the front panel. I do not see how I can dismantle it, as it is almost completely covered. The lever goes down and up again as I wind to the next frame.

Another problem is that I have no idea what to use to clean the prontor-SVS shutter (if I ever get to it), and what I can use to clean the belar lenses (which I have been told have VERY soft coating). As a matter of fact, all tips concerning cleaning methods and liquids are very welcome!
