I recently aquired an old Yashica TL-Super which seems to work well after some minor clean ups including removal of battery acid and such. I want to remove the lens to see whether or not some other lens I have will fit, but I'm unsure how to remove the lens on this camera. Most cameras I've worked with have a button to press for releasr on the left side of the lens when looking dirrectly at it, however this camera appears not to- as the switches control the opening and closing of the viewfinder, the self timer and the on and off for the light meter. If anyone could share how to do this and possibly what lens work best with this modle I would be extremely greatful. Thanks!

This is one of the screw mount lenses, also called M42. The lens just unscrews from the body. It may be tight but that is all there is to it.
