I recently got a Sears KS-2 (a Ricoh clone) at a 2nd hand store for my daughter to learn the joys of non-digital SLR's. It seems that the exposure counter is not resetting when I open the back. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Leslie

The dial is probably dirty. Try giving the camera a whack while the back door is open, see if the counter returns to zero when you do that. If so, it just needs cleaning. I think I have a sketch to get to it if you want to give it a go...
