Dear All
I am a collector of early Minox 35 cameras.
I hope these fall into the scope of this forum as they are often cheap to buy as non workers and are very collectable.
They suffer badly from stuck shutter problems my questions are.
Does anyone have any dismantling instructions?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram of the shutter?
I realise these cameras may be regarded as been modern, but they are mostly manual operation and are very nice to use.
Any info much apprciated.

I don't have a circuit diagram, but I do have some basic access sketches and some experience with a few of their foibles. I'll be happy to send you a copy if you'll email me for them

My Minolta XG(1) will not advance film. The shutter window will not close. When I look throught the view finder it is all black. What is the problem?

I would aprecciate also all info on repair of Minox 35. I do have on 35GL and shutter doesnt work well on fast speeds. I have confirmed that the shutter blades are clean and lubricated. I was told that it could be of old capacitors on the camera, cause these are the ones that control the shutter speeds. Can someone tell me the values of the Minox capacitors? They have a colour each, but dont know what is their capacity.

Thanks!

Please email me any info: [email protected]

Sergio
