I am trying to remove the rusty baseplate on the back cover of a FED 2e [late "raised shoe" version] and on this unit there are no set screws or screw cap on the loacking tabs. The inner locking tabs seem to be one piece. Does anyone have experience on how to remove this?

Any information will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Joseph

The locking tabs have pins in them, you'll have to bend a paper clip or something similar to push them out............
