I inherited a XR6 that no longer functions. A local camera shop advised that the shutter spring needs to be replaced, but they don't have access to Ricoh parts any longer. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi Jim:

Offhand, this sounds like a lot of work for the value of an XR6. Unless it has sentimental value, I don't know if it's a good bet.
