The over and under lights on a GS on which I have replaced the pad of death are now malfunctioning, after working OK for a while.

The yellow light comes on no matter what the aperture setting, including flashing when tripping the shutter.

The red light has stopped working, period.

The shutter only fires at what appears to be 1/500th of a second. I have a nice clunk, so the pad is still there.

Any thoughts?

Nevermind. Somehow I failed to notice that I had put the camera on flash instead of auto.

The camera is fine.
