Hi,

After shooting a roll with my old faithful Zorki 6 and winding the film back into the canister I find that the shutter wont cock. The advance sprocket and take up spool both rotate but the shutter curtains don't move . Any ideas ? any tips on dis-assembly ?

Cheers

Sean

Hi Sean,

Sounds like the film release mechanism is not fully returned. Make sure this is not hanging up. "Joggle" the shutter release button a few times up and down in rapid sequence and see if this helps. The camera may just need cleaning and lubing.

Hi Will,

Yes this worked ! Seems fine now. Maybe it is time for a service though.

Thanks

Sean
