I just aquired one of these in cosmetic mint and functional lousy condition. Can anyone shead some light on stripping down before I dive right in? This is too pretty to gouge up.

OK, I got tired of waiting. Got the shutter working, but I need to get the top plate off to acess the RF.
I've removed the set screws on the wind and rewind knobs, but am unable to remove them. Are they threaded? pressfitted tightly? I need to know what brand of brute, unreasoning force to apply.

Hi
I had the same problem today. Believe it or not there is another set screw behind the set screws!?
Hope this works for you. I noticed that you asked the question 3 months ago so chances are you either figured it out or moved on. I doubt that you even check this any more after all this time.
Let me know,(I've never used this site before).
Take care,
Tony

In fact, the camera remains untouched until today.
Thanks for the reply.
