I don't see any screws for this lense, and there's no notches in ring holding the front element for a lense spanner. I'm guessing that I'll just have to use friction to get the front out but does anyone have any ideas/experience with this lense?

I have taken one apart, from what I remember you do unscrew the 'name ring' first, then the front group comes out. Use a rubber tool or similar to grip it.

Thanks... I got that off now. The next 2 elements all come off with friction.... not a very maintenance friendly design.
