I have a Yashica MG-1 which i found in mydad's possession(and which he forgot how to use it arleady). The ASA part seems to be very loose. I can't adjust the ASA at all since it cannot be pushed beyond 100 (the range is from 25 to 800). I would like to find out 2 things:
1) if the ASA is not adjusted, what the picture quality is like..
2) if i want to find out if the problem can be solved myself just by taking the lens apart of if i have to take it to a professional repair shop.

thanks! It is my first time using a classic (more professional camera) so i really need help.
