Hi I've got a nice Mamiya/Sekor 1000DTL with a dead meter. I followed the thorough advice given by Ron Herron to open the bottom of the camera and I found my camera has the later meter switch configuration. Given that Ron's instructions only cover the earlier configuration I need advice to follow on. There is a thin green wire that's soldered on one end to one of the battery chamber contacts (positive, I suppose) and on the other end to a thin sheet of metal that, if I guess right, should provide contact with the camera's body negative when the wind lever is pushed towards the body. What I can see that seems wrong it's that the thin sheet of metal appears to be in place hanging to nothing, merely sitting there, and a little insulated screw to which it id connected that maybe pivoted on some point appears loose as well. I know this is rather confused, but I hope that someone had previously been there and is able to understand and give me some directions. Thanks to all Sergio La Marca Italy |
