I was playing with the shutter speeds, and from 1/8 down, they all sound the same, from 1/15 to 1/125 all sound the same, 1/250-1/500 sound about right, to fast to tell by ear Any ideas?

thanks

It sounds like your shutter needs cleaning. The Mamiya shutters are straightforward leaf shutters, once you manage to get teh lens cells unscrewed out of them (I think they were installed with pipe wrenches).

There are some general notes at

if you want something more specific to the Mamiyas, please drop me an email.
