The button on the side of my Ranger sometimes sticks, preventing the needle to be locked after a reading. Can I lube the meter button from the outside or do I need to go inside? I cannot see any screws to open the meter. Thanks for your help.

Depends on what/where the sticking is. A drop of sewing machine oil on the end of a decapitated q-tip applied around the button won't hurt and may fix the problem. Or it may not.
