Hi, I bought the above lens with 3 broken screws inside the focusing system. The only camera repairs man in town found the screws for me but unfortunately he was not familiar with this rack-and-pinion focusing system so he could not put the focusing ring back. There is a small screw sticking out inside the focusing ring perhaps to align on tube with outer thread , but it obstructs that tube to screw in another tube. I took out this screw and could screw in all 3 tubes of the lens together. But now I can't align the focusing parts, the focusing system does not get back to the original combination and the parts easily screw out of each other when i turn the focusing ring close to the minimum or infinity position. I wonder if anyone can help me to put back the focusing system. Thanks in advance. |
