Probably a little bit of a 'stretch' for this "Classic Camera" forum; but here goes... does anyone have any experience repair a Pentax Motor Drive A. I installed Fresh batteries. Battery tester indicates good at the contacts on the pack where it inserts into the motor unit - no obvious corosion exist; but, nothing happens... The red led does not 'glow' - turning the unit on - pressing the button - nothing happens... If anyone can assist I'd appreciate it. I'd also be interested in getting a copy of the Service Manual (I'll trade other Pentax service manual copies or pay $ - within reason.) Lastly, if all else fails the name of a reliable service rep who might be able to fix. Thanks, - Ray |
