I have been looking at a sale listing for a MINOLTA HI-MATIC 7SII the listing states everthing works but the appature will not change. "Stays at the smallest setting" Is this a comon problem? Is it an easy fix? Thanks

It depends... sometimes the aperture blades are just gummed up. Maybe the AE mechanism does not work at all. Maybe there is just a misbent spring in the aperture mechanism. So maybe it is an easy fix, maybe not, you cannot tell from the distance.

Mebbe Paul got tired of trying to fix his stuck aperture and has it for sale now...

I expect that you know that the aperture only changes when you half-depress the shutter release ?
