Hi- I have a Yashica Electro TL, and sometimes the mirror hangs on 1/60 and 1/125 only. When I advance the film, and press the shutter again, the mirror falls. The problem is only on these 2 speeds, and not all time. Is there a specific area I need to clean for these 2 speeds?

thanks

Have you checked the foam bumper at the front of the focussing screen? If that has degraded and gone sticky, it could be causing the problem.

The mirror should return the same at all speeds - perhaps these speeds give just enough contact for the mirror to stick?
