I have an Agfa 35mm Apotar f/2.8 45mm Color in which the vertical rangefinder alinment is off. Can anyone tell me how to adjust it?

This is an Agfa Super Silette? If so, you need to remove the top cover. There is a screw on the shutter release end, a collar under the rewind knob, and a screw under the spring on the accessory shoe. You need to take off the button which releses the rewind knob, and unscrew the rewind knob, as well. Note how the rewind knob parts fit together - part will fall inside the camera.
The vertical alignment is a screw on the back of the diagonal mirror in the rangefinder.
When reassembling, make sure the extension on the release lever fits into the cable release socket.

Thanks John; actually the camera is very much like an Agfa Optima IIa. In any case, I worked it out. The Agfa range finders of that era are simular.
