Have canon 50 fd lense with dust or something on the back of the first lense. HOw do I open the lense? Read somewhere to flip the first ring off to get access to the second ring with screws? Can't seem to get it to flip off? The lense appears good otherwise.

Thanks

Is it a breech-lock FD, or a bayonet FD lens? on the breech-lock, the front ID ring unscrews; on the bayonet I believe it's glued on. I have sketches of the breech-lock type, not sure if I have them for the bayonet or not.....
