Recently investigated a slow diaphragm on a 55mm f2 Super Takumar. It shut down quickly but was slow to return. Problem turned out to be nothing more than the actuating pin in the rear of the lens, cured by a single drop of fag lighter fluid! Unfortunately I'd already partly dismantled the lens, but will be wiser next time!
