Dear All,

My F280 seems work fine with test button but the recharging time is too long (~ 5-10s) even using new batteries on it.

If the flash is in manual mode or on auto where the capicator is fully dumped after a flash, the the time for recharge will be longer. 5-10 secs is not unusual. Try it on auto where it is pointed at a wall 4-5 feet away and see if the recharge time is much shorter. It should use only part of the charge in the capacitor and thus a shorter time to full charge.
