Sometime the LED array functions as it should and sometime two LEDs blink at 1/60 - 1/30 no matter what settings are selected including "A" and "P". The battery is new and passes the strength test outlined in the instruction manual.
Because it always indicates a "reading" tells me it could be an intermittent photocell connection. Does this sound right? Can I check these connections? Thanks.

Does this intermittent blinking occur only when there's no film in the camera, or you've just loaded a roll? The EM and FG both require film advanced to "1" on the frame counter before the LEDs (or in the Nikon EM, metering needle) register correctly.
