I have an old Canon AT-1 and its winder does not crank all the way back. If you adjust the shutter speed knob to 'B' (varible) the right edge of the balck plastic grip only goes to 500.

Other info:
Make: Canon
Model: AT-1
S#: 380449
Battery Charge: 0%
Lens: Yes, HOYA HMC 52mm SKYLIGHT(1B)

I'm praying its just that it needs a new battery but my limited knowledge of cameras and my knowledge of mechanics leads me to think that is something more. Any help is much appretiated, I loved this camera when it worked and have trip coming up in a few days leaving friday and its 12:16am wensday. I have around 39 hours to fix it before trip, but thats not so important.

(And yes that is my real last name)
