Hi, As in my previous post I am still trying to disassemble my summitar for a cleaning. I have removed the lens from the focusing mount, but I cant seem to get in from either end. I cant get the front element(s) to screw out, I have tried applying Ronsonol to the seam, but it still wont budge, any idea on how to get them apart? Also I have removed all the retaining rings from the rear, but the rear group doesn't want to come out, do i have to unscrew it with a spanner wrench (which i don't have)? Thanks for any help, Brandon |

Hi Brandon; I think I MIGHT have something on this... no guarantees, but email me later to remind me to hunt for it at home. |
