Need to repair or replace rewind release button broken off. It is located on bottom of camera in center of film advance knob. Does anyone know if this was threaded into knob, or part of film spool, and do you know how to remove entire spool assembly? Anyone have a schematic?

The knob is threaded onto a special shaft and the threaded portion breaks off--part is going to be a problem to find.

My other option, I assume, would be to remove shaft and have a new hole drilled and threaded which I can probably do, but how do you remove the shaft? No visible signs of entry are apparent.
