The film advance lever on my Vito CL does not return fully when released. I had a reputable shop work on the advance mechanism, and while the function is much better, the action is still slow, and a gentle push is required to fully return the lever to its position against the back of the camera. The lever does not snap back like my other lever advance cameras. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

That particular model of Vito is an easy candidate. When the top-plate is removed, pretty much all is revealed. With the top-plate removed, advance the lever a few times and watch what happens. The problem is probably want of a little lube in the right area ... but it could be that the lever itself is binding on the top-plate. You will know whether the latter is the case after you have removed the top-plate .. of course.
