I just got this camera working and I am now moving on to seals and mirror bumper.

I cannot find any remaining trace of the mirror bumper.

Does this model have one ??

Yes, it does. It's rather narrow, so you need to cut the foam carefully. The XR-7 is a nice little SLR - sort of like a Nikon FE for Pentax lenses. Be sure to check the focus alignment. There is an adjustment screw accessible from the bottom of the camera, under the baseplate, that lets you tweak the focus.

excellent, excellent camera. super accurate shutter and meter, tremendous range of manual (and auto) speeds, exceptionally well laid out controls and a memory hold that makes the 'manual' setting unnecessary in all but the most extreme special cases. better than any pentax short of the LX, imho......
