hello,

just would know how to clean safely a Canon FD 50mm f1.4 ssc lens, there is lubricant or something like that on the blades.
i know there's repair manual but can't find one.

i just remove the lettered ring, i can see the 3 screw underneath, but before go furthermore, i need to know if the blades are easyly reacheable from front lens or from rear lens ?

if i could have some procedure to open this lens and avoid any damage, it would be nice !

thanks for your links, i could read a few post about lens disassembly, i had not any spanner, so i used homemade hook to unscrew the lens.
