Hi All,

I have a Contina IIa that needs a takeup sprocket
replaced and was hoping someone could provide
a brief explanation as to the most efficient
method for removing the wind lever.
The rest of the dials, etc, on the top were
straight-forward.

Thanks,
Chris

As I recall, the center portion of the wind lever, what is the cable release socket, is unscrewed with suitable tool--like friction wrench-and from there things are easy. I may be wrong on this--its been a long time--but you will know when looking at it. RH thread by the way.
