I used my Minolta X-700 about a month ago and it worked great. Unfortunately I left the power on and today, even with a new battery, nothing works. No metering; no winding; no shutter; no indicators at all. Basically no electrical power. I bought this body new a couple of years ago to replace another X-700 previously purchased used. As I recall, the other one has the exact same problem. (Not knowing its history, and only in need of a body, I replaced the first one rather than getting it repaired.) Other than "turn it off when you're done" anyone have ideas? Is there a "reset" somewhere? Thanks. |
