Hi to all.
I have a Pentax ES2 with a battery problem.
The meter does not move when the camera is set on automatic and the shutter release is pressed. Also, the meter does not respond to the battery check button. I can see no evidence of corrosion in the battery compartment. If I take a few screws out of the circuit board in the bottom can I lift it to see if the battery connections are OK? I have looked for info in the lists to the left of the forum and have found no advice there. I did download a users manual from Pentax. I couldn't find a free repair manual. Everything else seems to work OK.
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
Hollis
