i bought just a yashica tl super on ebay, and it is amazing. however though, it does have a problem. in a previous life, an owner dropped the body on the ground, and knocked the viewfinder off balance. neither the prism nor the mirror are damaged, so the pictures still come out fine, but the view through the finder is crooked. Any suggestions on how to fix it? also, it has a match needle meter, and since the finder is off balance, is the meter usless? thanks

Hi, Alec. It sounds to me like the pentaprism is what got knocked crooked. If it got dropped hard enough to knock the focus screen crooked, that would have been a hard lick. I'd remove the top plate and see if I could put the pentaprism back where it should be. Please let me know if you need help doing that. I may have a TL-Super I could sell you as a parts camera, if you find damaged parts or something. If you need a light seal kit for it, I can send you one for as little as $6. To see it (and some actual re-sealing work being done on a Yashica SLR), please go to E-Bay and search using the "by seller" option. Type in my ID...Interslice...and there you go.
Jon
