Hi All,
On the Canon FD lenses, has anyone tried to convert the newer style lenses (bayonet mount) to the earlier breech mount (ones with aluminum ring). I always prefered the earlier type, and I have a few spare 50mm lenses of the earlier type I could use for parts to convert some other lenses. Just wondering if this was possible.

Thanks,
Will

I am afraid this will not be possible. The bayonet mount seems to be completely different from the breech mount. On the bayonet mount lenses the whole outer body of the lens is turned, while on the breech lock it is just the latching ring.
