I have a IIIS which needs some shutter servicing. First, the assembly is loose on the mounting plate. There would appear to be some rear mounted screws holding the shutter to the plate. At the very least one is adrift inside the body. I am assuming the plate must be removed to fix this. Second, is this how the shutter is serviced ? Finally, I removed the speed/apeture rings during my initial explorations. Is there a magical orientation to replace it ? The apeture dial underneath the lens does not move as freely as before and the meter needle does not move. The infamous string is not broken. Will removing the mounting plate be more illuminating ?
