Hi,
Will I have any surpises if I remove the bottom cover on an LTL? I have a mint one that someone scratched their id on and I'd like to swap it for an unmarked one from another camera.
Also, anyone have any tips on cleaning and lubing an M42 Zeiss Pancolar 50F1.8, the older 'zebra' type?
I have one that will not stop down and has uneven focus smoothness.

No big surprises. The rewind button and battery holder will be loose- that's all. I think there is an article or thread on Zeiss lenses on the site already. If not, re-post and we'll respond.
