I have a dead T50 and wish to remove the rewind knob and stem so I can remove the top cover to get access to the flex board. Any suggestions?

put a screwdriver in the rewind fork and turn the rewind knb counterclockwise and unscrew the knob assy. Under that there is a split plastic washer which you can remove with a small screw and lift one edge.
