Is there a way to remove the lenses of the Yashica C? I just got one, and both of them are scratched, so I would like to replace them. Also, does anyone know where I can get replacements? Any information would help!!! Thanks!

Kate,

It will be very difficult, if not impossible to find replacement lenses for the 'C', unless you find another junker camera with good lenses.

But - how badly are the lenses scratched? Scratches in the viewing lens will have no effect at all and if the scratches on the taking lens are only in the coating, you will not see any difference in the pictures.

Good luck,

Jan

Thanks so much! I'll try it out with the scratches as is. They don't look exceedingly deep.
