Hi all,
I picked up a couple old 620 folders and I am going to use 120 film in them by using the re-roll onto 620 spool trick.
My question is, what's the trick to count frames? Won't the numbers on the film paper backing (viewed thru the litle red window) be useless since the negative is now effectively 33% wider? I want to avoid negative overlap and yet not waste expensive film either by excessive film advancing. As always, any and all help is greatly apreciated.

the only difference between the two is the spool it is on--film and backing it the same. |

The only difference between 620 and 120 is the diameter of the spools. So, I'm not sure what you mean by "33% wider"
On old roll film cameras the frames are counted using the numbers printed on the backing paper. There are three sets of numbers for 4.5x6, 6x6, and 6x9. One of those should match the camera. |

Ok I see.. the red window positions are aligned differently depending on frame size! Can you tell I'm new to MF?
