I wasn't sure this model would qualify here as a classic, but I did find a few other posts in the archives. Just purchased this one used, but can't get it to rewind the roll. All other functions seem OK. Does anyone know the procedure, just so I can determine whether the problem is the camera or operator error? Here's a photo of the model I bought: First Version Nikon Action Touch

Well, no replies, so maybe I'm out of luck. I guess it's equally unlikely anyone can tell me how to disassemble it. (?)

I have one but haven't used it in ages. Let me check it this evening and look it over. - David.

Jackson, let me know if you figure it out. I have two now, but I haven't used the good one in almost 8 years. It has film in it... but I too can't remember how to rewind the film.

Ping me at [email protected] if you find the solution. EJ

Just had a look at mine, and there is a lever in a recessed square area on the bottom, which pushes toward the battery cover. You will need good fresh batterys in the camera. I got good pictures from mine, and I think its water'proof' to a few feet, certainly good enough for rainy days.

I recently inherited an Action Touch with the numbers 2103882 on the bottom. I installed fresh batteries but cannot get the focus indicator needle to move. I don't think that the camera is getting power even though everything visually appears to be OK. Anybody got any ideas on how to get this thing operating?
