Hello all, I have two AE-1's whose meters are experiencing some problems. Both strings have slipped their pulleys at some point and I am having difficulty getting them back to proper resistance for accurate metering. I understand the initial tension is 1 1/2 turns on the coil, but once you slide the string through the tab how many times around the coil does it go? Is this a situation where the original tension is lost once the string slips off and the metering will never get back to normal again? Please advise. Andy. |
