can any body tell me how to unload film from a zenit 11? i've tried every thing to no avail. it belongs to a charity i voluteer for.

There should be a button or a lever by the shutter release. Push it in or turn it, that will release the film transport mechanism. Then use the rewind crank/button (on the left side of the camera when looking from the back) to wind the film back.
Wind until you feel resistance or hear the film slipping from the take-up spool, open the camera and you're done.
