I just picked up a GT which has a shutter problem. The shutter opens up when you crank the rewind lever. I noticed that on a working GSN there is a slight movement of the shutter blades when cocking, but nothing like the stuck open position of this GT. I started cleaning with lighter fluid. Now the shutter will close when I trip the shutter button but it still opens up when advancing the film lever. How much surgery will fixing this require? Jon Flanders |
