my minolta film advance is stuck, the shutter button will drepress but nothing happens.

im newbie so an help would be great

Turn the meter on, look through the finder and press the shutter button. Do the lights go out and stay out? If so, you have a bad shutter capacitor. Very common problem and easy to fix if you can solder small parts.
