Hello to you all. I have to remove the ASA film speed dial from the back door of an M2 model. It seems to be just placed behind the vulcanite and over the metal door. Is this right?? If so how to remove the vulcanite without damaging it ?? Thank you all in advance.
Carlos.

never had to do this, but I don't think removing the covering will do you any good. Also, it is likely to come off in pieces. Have you looked under the pressure plate for an screws?

Carlos,

I think the dial is glued on. I've never removed one but that's what it looks like on my M3. Use a solvent to soften the glue.

And the Vulcanite will not come off in one big piece. It'll break up if you try removing it. Best to leave it alone.

Henry
