I have a auto S2 that will not focus at near distances. Beyond 6 feet to infinity seems to be fine. What to do?

Shawn,

You will have to be more specific.

Is it the rangefinder that will not focus at distances closer than 6 feet?

Is it the focusing mount which gets stuck at 6 feet?

If it is the rangefinder that will not focus closer than 6 feet (the r/f image stops moving), than you will have to remove the top cover and see if anything is blocking the rangefinder arm and thus the focusing mechanism at close distances.

If the lens gets stuck at around 6 feet, than you will have to investigate the focusing mount.

Are the pictures sharp at all distances?

Jan
