How do I remove the left hand side top cover on a Nikon F2? Can't tell how the flash mount comes off. Thanks.

You have to pry up the piece around the rewind shaft hole--probably would be good to let some lacquer thinner run under the edge so you remove without too much distortion. From on, you can figure it out.

Thanks Ed. Is this the black piece that is under the rewind lever with an arrow marked at the front? There doesn't seem to be much room to get any purchase under this and lever it up without marking an edge somewhere.

Also, is it possible to take out the sleeve that the rewind lever turns in? Any tips on how it comes out? Thanks.
