The lightmeter on my MX suddenly stopped working (yes, I have checked the batteries). Any ideas about what is wrong with it, and if it's possible to fix?

Thank you!

There's a switch in the bottom (2 copper colored blades)that make contact when the shutter button is depressed. It's easy to access by removing the bottom plate. They may need cleaning or adjustment. Best to take it to a reliable shop.

The simple repair is at the bottom of the page of the attached link. Just did it myself and it took all of 5 minutes and did the trick. Good Luck
