Gentle reader,

please give me a little bit of time!

Short description: The Reprovit is a reproduction device for use with Leica cameras. It has as sophisticated exposure/illumination/focusing mechanism.

My questions are - has someone a wiring diagram/schematics (I'm able to reverse engineer the cabling, but with an unknown previous owner, who might have made "illegal" changes...).

Does someone know a source for the crude plugs for the timing device (it looks like a US plug, but has convoluted blades instead of pins).

Thanks in advance!!! cep

Herr Pfeiler,

There were two Reprovit version - Reprovit II and Reptovit IIa. If you have the II, it will probably be quite difficult to get the wiring diagram, it was discontinued in the early 1960's. The IIa was available from the late 1960's, well into the 1980's and the diagram should still be available from Leica Camera in Solms or Wetzlar. If you do not have any luck in Germany, you might try Leica USA in New Jersey.

The IIa was a magnificent machine - I used one for over a year while at the university.

Hello Mr. Pfeiler,

I know it has been a while and you have not responded, but here is a link to a page I found recently.

http://www.oldtimercameras.com/stock/Model.asp?Model=6321&ModelPage=true

Good luck,

Jan

Thanks Jan,

Pardon, pardon, pardon for my lack of precision, and also for the delay, it's the IIa.

I've got a manual (in German) before posting my question, but inside the manual there is a hint towards the wiring diagram _inside_ the switchbox under the groundplate where no one is present - neither inside nor outside :-(((

The plug - I remember darkly - comes from a very small country, where it is national standard...
