Hi all, A problem suddenly appeared on my Yashicamat EM. Shutter worked quite well, but a friend of mine did push the self-timer lever with shutter on "M" position. Since then, shutter opening and closing is reaaaaally slow, at all speeds, with or without self-timer. The time spent fully opened seems still OK (at least depends on speed setting...). Is there a way to fix that somebody here could indicate me ? Thanks in advance for any advice. |

I suppose you'll have to go in and clean it. In response to this post (and other similar ones recently), I just added a TLR repair page to my Tech Notes section. Not very refined at the moment, but take a peek anyway http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-158.html and let me know if it leaves you with any questions (I suppose it probably will) rick : ) = |

Thank you for your response and your link. I'll precautionously try to dissamble this shutter and clean it. Thibault |
